What's In Your Heart?

““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day [when I judge them], ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and driven out demons in Your name, and done many miracles in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them publicly, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME [you are banished from My presence], YOU WHO ACT WICKEDLY [disregarding My commands].’” - MATTHEW‬ ‭7:21-23‬ ‭AMP‬‬

You people who knowingly and continuously reject Jesus with your heart, and only love Him with your lips shall NEVER enter into the kingdom of heaven. Like wolves in sheep clothing, you will knock and say, 'Lord Lord, open the door, let me in.' To your kind Jesus will say "I don't know you (Matthew 25:11-13)." Many people call on the name of Jesus only in times of struggle then shortly after they return to a lifestyle of sinful practices. Publicly they love Jesus; privately they do not live for Christ, or have a growing relationship with God through faith in Jesus. Your empty words won't cut it.

Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace (Romans 6:1)? If you are living a lifestyle in sin and refuse to repent, you are not welcomed in God's Kingdom (Revelation 21:8). Listen to God's Holy voice and DO what it says (Matthew 4:4); live holy as He is Holy (1 Peter 1:16). “‘AND IT SHALL BE THAT EVERYONE WHO CALLS UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD [invoking, adoring, and worshiping the Lord Jesus] SHALL BE SAVED (rescued spiritually) (ACTS‬ ‭2:21‬ ‭AMP‬‬).'" What is in your heart? Do you believe??? Then you are saved (Romans 10:9-10).

Jesus said, “For this is My Father’s will and purpose, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him [as Savior] will have eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] on the last day (‭‭JOHN‬ ‭6:40‬ ‭AMP).""‬‬

WHAT IF I DON'T SEE THE SON?

“Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, do you now believe? Blessed [happy, spiritually secure, and favored by God] are they who did not see [Me] and yet believed [in Me].”” - JOHN‬ ‭20:29‬ ‭AMP‬‬

If we all do a self-evaluation of our hearts I'm sure we'd discover that every human heart is full of all this stuff that we never realized were there, because they can be hidden under temporal pleasures and pain relievers. Since the great fall of Adam and Eve, the human nature is so tainted with sin, that we'll never choose God unless we repent and Jesus saves our souls (Philippians 2:13). And If we continue to walk this life improperly equipped (2 Timothy 3:16-17), this heart problem could destroy our purpose today, and our souls for eternity. We have a choice to: one, believe we would be a better God to rule our own hearts above the God of the Bible; or two, believe; Believe in Jesus today and say, "I'm sorry God. Please forgive me. I'm yours and I give my heart to you. I cannot cure this heart problem on my own. I invite Jesus Christ to come and reign in my heart and teach me how to live for you." I am so glad that my salvation doesn't come from my self-righteousness or everything my heart prefers, but from God and God alone (Jeremiah 17:5-10).
